USS Iowa (BB-61) is a retired battleship, the lead ship of her class,
and the fourth in the United States Navy to be named after the state of Iowa.
Fun Fact 2: All of the Iowa class battleships that are currently museum ships are
technically activate-able. All of the Iowa class battleships are technically activate-able
with the Wisconsin being the most likely for several reasons but with challenges.

The bell was presented by the South Korean government to the United
States to celebrate the bicentennial of the U.S. and to symbolize
friendship between the two countries. The effort was coordinated by
Philip Ahn, a Korean American actor.
